Symptoms: (most people don't have all these)
- Fever - Joint aches
- Fatigue - Muscle aches
- Rash - Diarrhea
- Headache - Nausea
- Sore throat - Vomiting
- Swollen tonsils - Night sweats
Use condoms/barriers to lower risk. Avoid sexual contact if sores or rash are there. Get tested to be sure. You can do a blood test or mouth swab. You can take medicine right after you have sex with someone who has HIV. It may stop the infection if you take it within 72 hours.
